in Williamson County.

• Three are in Hutto, five in Taylor and two in Thrall.

• The county experienced 98 incidents of sanitary sewage overflows in 2022-2023, spilling 315,271 gallons of wastewater.

• Causes ranged from power outages and equipment failure to human error.

• No wastewater-treatment plant permits have been denied in Williamson County in the past five years.
